Inspired by Julius Caesar's copies of the Acta Diurna (‘Daily Events’ or the ‘Daily Public Record’), and thought to be the first daily gazette or newspaper in ancient history, the mission of Acta Diurna Classics is to serve as a daily educational resource created to keep the ancient world accessible for today's students.
